Aaron Kennedy, 18, 256 W. Washington St., West Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana at 8:53 a.m. Nov. 3 near Fair Oaks and Rolling Oaks, police said.
Underage Bartlett resident faces alcohol charges
Anna Carcaran, 20, 1137 Pinetree Lane, Bartlett, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and violation of the zero-tolerance law at 12:05 a.m. Oct. 30 near Taylor and St. Charles roads, police said.

Sergio P. Marquez, 59, of Villa Park, was charged with driving without a valid license and possession of marijuana after being pulled over for speeding at 5 a.m. Nov. 3 near Fullerton Avenue and John Street, according to police.
Resident reports identify theft
A person opened a checking account in the name of a woman along the 200 block of Army Train Road without her authorization and made several transactions. The incident was reported at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 4.

Maria J. Landeta, 21, of Cicero, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal window tint at 3:13 a.m. Nov. 2 near North Avenue and Pearl Drive.

Computers taken in home burglaries
n A Dell desktop computer, a portable computer, a digital camera, a Sony PlayStation 2, video games, jewelry, liquor and cash, total value of $15,000, were stolen from a home on the 100 block of Swallow Avenue between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 27.
The home’s kitchen window was shattered.
n A 26-inch flat screen LCD television, a DVD player with surround sound, a wedding ring, an iPod Nano, a Dell computer and cash, total value of $12,500, were stolen from a home on the 200 block of Freemont Court between 6:55 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
A window of the home was shattered with a brick.
Woman faces DUI charge
Mary J. Thede, 24, of Bartlett, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at 1:59 a.m. Nov. 1 near Lake Street and Rosedale Road.

Sonya Nichols, 31, 5433 Alden Lane, Hanover Park, was charged with improper backing on roadway and driving under the influence at 11 a.m. Oct. 20 at Schick and Bloomingdale roads.
Teen charged with theft
Melissa Casagrande, 19, 1724 Evergreen Road, Hanover Park, was charged with retail theft at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 22 at Meijer, 130 S. Gary Ave.
A store security officer alleged that Casagrande removed a camera, memory card and boy’s pajamas from a store display, removed them from their packages, concealed them in her jacket and exited the store without paying for the merchandise valued at $175.

Archery equipment, valued at $2,000, was stolen from a car on the first block of Wildwood Drive. The theft was reported at 10 a.m. Oct. 24.
