DUI charges filed
Jill Picha, 36, 1365 Windgate Court, Bartlett, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane usage at about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Woodland Hills Drive and Windgate Court, according to police reports.

George Flores, 34, 1336 Newcastle Lane, Bartlett, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol , no valid driver’s license, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct at about 12:30 a.m. Jan. 11 at Mayflower Road and Struckman Street, according to police reports.

James Stewart III, 24, of 1321 Modaff Road, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device at about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 9 at Route 59 and Army Trail Road, according to police reports.

Alberto Ibarra, 43, 514 Krause Ave., Streamwood, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, expired registration and improper lane usage at about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 6 at Lake Street and Park Boulevard, according to police reports.

Kristin Carreno, 33, 573 Eastwick Lane, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and failure to reduce speed at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at Valewood Road and Lakewood Drive, according to police reports.

Adam Weldzius, 28, of Carpentersville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage at about 2 a.m. Jan. 7 at Route 59 and Schick Road, according to police reports.

DUI charges filed

John Floro, 51, 182 Bobwhite Court, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 9 near the intersection of Bloomingdale and Schick roads, according to police reports.

Suhail Fakhouri, 47, 609 Rosedale Road, Roselle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 5 a.m. Jan. 10 near the intersection of Lake Street and Bloomingdale Road, according to police reports.

IPod stolen from gym
An Apple iPod was reported stolen from the Bloomingdale Park District gym, 172 S. Circle Ave., between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 31, according to police reports.
The iPod was valued at $160, police said.

Man faces drug charge
Michael DeBrown, 17, 635 Autumn Drive, Roselle, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 9 p.m. Jan. 5 near the intersection of Lynbrook Drive and Lehigh Lane, according to police reports.

Jewelry reported stolen
Several pieces of jewelry with a combined value of $1,500 were reported stolen between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 7 from a home in the 200 block of Winston Lane, according to police reports.

Local man faces charges
Miguel Gomez, 30, 585 Gundersen Ave., Carol Stream, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and driving with a suspended license at about 6 p.m. Jan. 12 near the intersection of Schmale Road and North Avenue, police said.

Domestic battery alleged
Mark Greathouse, 42, of the 800 block of Kansas Street, Carol Stream, was charged with domestic battery at about 12:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at his residence, according to police reports.

Drug charge for Addison man
Osman Latif, 20, of 691 Wrightwood Ave., Addison, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 11:45 p.m. Jan. 11 along the 100 block of West North Avenue, police said.

Resisting arrest charged
Bryant Anderson, 49, 595 Gundersen Ave., Carol Stream, was charged with obstruction of a police officer and resisting arrest at about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8 near his residence, police said.

Drug charges filed
Larry Kieft, 48, 169 S. Lawndale Ave., Elmhurst, was charged with possession of a controlled substance at about 10:15 p.m. Jan. 8 near St. Charles Road and President Street, police said.

Glendale Heights
Police allege suspended license
Victor D. Hernandez, 41, 204 Galdstone Drive, No. 202, Glendale Heights, was charged with driving with  a suspended license and an outstanding warrant at about 2 a.m. Jan. 9 along Bloomingdale Road, police said.

Vehicle theft reported
A resident along the 1500 block of Highland Avenue reported someone entered an unlocked van and removed a cell phone at about 10:45 a.m. Jan. 10, police said.

Several items taken in burglary
A resident along the 100 block of Andover Court reported several items, including a PlayStation 3 video game system, a stereo and a checkbook were taken after someone broke into a vehicle at about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 5, police said.
