Rajendrakumar Patel, 36, of Hanover Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 11 outside Chili’s, 310 W. Army Trail Road, after he was allegedly involved in a traffic collision.

Truck stolen
A white 1994 Freightliner truck was stolen between Aug. 3 and Aug. 13 from the parking lot of Abbott and Associates, 7 N. Circle Ave. The truck was valued at $30,000.

Ryan Wilkersen, 18, 545 Thornhill Ave., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3 a.m. Aug. 18 along the 300 block of Schmale Avenue.

Alcohol charge filed
Patrick Cazini, 20, 684 Linden Ave., was cited under zero tolerance alcohol restrictions at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 18 near Kuhn Road and Thunderbird Avenue.

Electronic items stolen
The window of a Chevrolet Avalanche parked on the 1200 block of Thomas Court was broken and an MP3 music player and a radar detector were removed between 2 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 17.
No value was given for the missing items.

Drunken driving charged
Hugo Valensuela, 44, 113 N. May St., Addison, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, and no valid drivers license at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 16 near Armitage Avenue and Glen Ellyn Road.

A home on the 300 block of East Ardmore Avenue was broken into from the back and jewelry taken. The incident was reported at 9 p.m. Aug. 14. No estimated value of the items stolen was provided.
