Voter registration deadline approaching

The deadline to vote or to transfer a registration for the upcoming Nov. 4 election is Oct. 7.

Any potential voter who resides within DuPage County is encouraged to contact their local municipality, library or township office for more information, or the DuPage County Election Commission’s registration department at (630) 407-5600. Voters can check their voting status or download a registration application by visiting www.dupageelections.com.

The Election Commission’s office, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The commission will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays until Election Day.

The office will be open special hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 7 for voter registration.
