Dog lovers ready for Halloween

Members of the Suburban Chicagoland Dachshund Lovers will have their Howl O’Weiners’ Ball from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at Paw Law, 25W775 Lake St., Roselle.
Dachshunds will be in Howl O’Wein garb. Awards will be given for most original, funniest, scariest and best overall human/dachshund team.
The admission cost is $4 per dachshund and fosters get in for free.
The SCDL is a social dachshund group that includes members from Illinois along with neighboring states, created to provide a community for individuals who love dachshunds. While providing a social arena for dachshunds, the group also has several events per year that raise funds for dachshund-rescue groups.
