Oak Brook, IL -

Tickets for the annual “Halloween Night Walks” at Fullersburg Wood Nature Education Center in Oak Brook go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday for DuPage County residents.

This year’s themed walks will be held from 6 and 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Oct. 26.
During the one-hour walks, costumed characters will lead groups through the darkened woods to enjoy entertaining skits and spooky surprises that are related to nature and the environment. While education is the primary goal, young and old will have plenty of Halloween fun.

Tickets are $8 each and must be purchased in person in advance at the Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center, 3609 Spring Road.

A valid driver’s license is required to verify residency, and there are no refunds or exchanges. A maximum of eight tickets per person may be purchased. Nonresidents may purchase tickets beginning Sunday.

Walks are held outdoors regardless of the weather, and participants are encouraged to dress appropriately.

For more information, call the center at (630) 850-8110.
