Health Department offers classes to quit smoking

The DuPage County Health Department is offering seven-week classes to help DuPage County residents quit smoking.

Classes are offered throughout DuPage County. Upcoming classes with starting dates include:

• 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Edward Hospital, Naperville;

• 6 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 20, Hinsdale Hospital; and

• noon to 1 p.m., Oct. 30, DuPage County Health Department, Wheaton.

To reach a health educator for questions or placement in a class, call (630) 682-7400.

The classes are free and include nicotine replacement therapies.
