People are invited to meet friends, neighbors and co-workers at Rocco Vino’s Restaurant in Carol Stream to help raise funds for the 2009 Carol Stream 4th of July Parade.
 
The parade committee will hold a fundraiser Tuesday, March 24, at Rocco Vino’s, 904 Army Trail Road, receiving a portion of all sales between 10:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.
 
A flyer must be shown for the parade committee to earn the money. Flyers can be printed from the parade Web site at www.carolstreamparade.com.
 
This year’s parade will feature the St. Andrews Bagpipes from Springfield, the Jessie White Tumblers, the Glenbard North Marching Band, the South Shore Drill Team, Jimmy’s Bavarians, Those Funny Little People, the Lowdown Brass Band, the Barefoot Hawaiians, Shrine units and many other bands, marchers and community groups.

The parade committee will hold future fundraisers in April at Culver’s in Carol Stream, and a Jewel Shop-and-Share event. Details are listed on the Web site.
