I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many residents who voted in the primary election. I genuinely appreciate the large number of people who came out to vote Feb. 5 despite the inclement weather and helped me win the Republican nomination for DuPage County Forest Preserve commissioner.

As I began my door-to-door campaigning, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As time went on, I found residents to be very welcoming and receptive when I rang their doorbells. It was a pleasure meeting so many people and hearing ideas and comments about the forest preserves.
