We all have our favorite Christmas music. Each year, however, there are new offerings that bring a new sound to our favorite classics.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra offers to keep your holiday rockin' with "Christmas Rocks: The Best Of Collection."

In addition, a deluxe version includes a full length concert DVD, "Christmas Extravaganza."

Having already heard these tunes, I can tell you this music can add to your holiday festivities and perk up your holiday spirit. Filled with traditional Christmas tunes done by "world-class musicians, playing state-of-the-art charts, and blowing away jazz hipsters as well as families celebrating the holiday," says a spokesman for Setzer.

The DVD was filmed in December 2004 at L.A.'s sold out Gibson Amphitheater. The show lasts for 1 hour and 40 minutes with DVD extras including backstage footage and behind-the-scenes work with Setzer and his crew. Twenty-five tracks span Setzer's 30-year career including Stray Cats and BSO hits "Stray Cat Strut," "Jump Jive An' Wail," and "Rock This Town."

Setzer started his career on Long Island as a punkabilly singer. After moving to England, his group Stray Cats performed shows that shot them to international prominence. After the group disbanded, Setzer pursued other projects while building his reputation as one of the world's most respected guitarists.

Setzer's work has been described as a fusion of big-band swing and rock swagger. His concerts have been described as "a party" by some journalists.

The CD and DVD contain hits such as "Jingle Bell Rock," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus," "Dig That Crazy Santa Claus,"  and other traditional and non-traditional Christmas tunes.
