Jordan Grace DeRenzo and Jeremy Edward Finzel were married Aug. 31, 2008, in Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago. The ceremony was presided over by the Rev. Wilbur David Ellsworth. The bride is the daughter of Victor DeRenzo of Forest Park, N.Y., and Rebecca DeRenzo of Wheaton. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Hans Finzel of Highland Ranch, Colo.

Jordan chose Sharah DeRenzo as her maid of honor.

Jeremy chose Andrew Finzel as his best man.

The bride is a graduate of Wheaton North High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from North Central College in 2007. She is employed with Tyndale House Publishers. The groom attended Wheaton North High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Bilola University in 2007. He is employed with Tyndale House Publishers.

The couple traveled to downtown Chicago during their honeymoon.
