Fernando J. Bandera, 4945 Keller St., Unit 305, Lisle, was arrested by Lisle police and charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 Felony, said Sgt. Ron Wilke, spokesman for the Lisle Police Department.
Wilke said the alleged assault took place at about 2 a.m. July 5.
The mother of the victim contacted police, who arrested Bandera without incident after interviewing him, Wilke said.
No other details were released.
Bail was set at $200,000, and as of Thursday morning, Bandera had not posted bond and was still in custody, said Paul Darrah, spokesman for the DuPage County State’s Attorney.
If convicted, Bandera could face up to 15 years in prison.
