• The Woman’s Club of Hinsdale is having its annual Christmas tea at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Hinsdale Community House, 415 W. Eighth St. The Hinsdale South Madrigals will be performing at 1 p.m. Tea will be served after the program. • The Lisle Lions Dollars for Scholars Organization is holding its annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 at Meadows Center, 5801 Westview St., Lisle. For further information, call (630) 971-0976 or (630) 858-6308.

• Lemont Daisy Troop 456 collected over 7,000 stuffed animals during its 10-day drive to help children in need. This far surpassed the original goal of 1,000 items. Together with their families, the girls worked hard to monitor drop boxes placed throughout town and gather, count, sort and pack the collected treasures. The animals will be donated to Stuffed Animals for Emergencies, Operation Give, the Illinois State Police and other organizations that help children dealing with tragedy or loss. Members of the troop include Isabella Bercher, Hannah DeFronzo, Kyra Feltz, Michelle Graefen, Danielle Irwin, Claire O’Malley, Alyssa Quaid, Grace Re and Amy Schwem.

• The Woodridge Junior Woman’s Club will hold its general meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Eileen’s house, 6820 Eastside Ave., Woodridge. At this meeting, they will be holding their holiday party. Everyone is asked to bring a food item for a family through the Woodridge Food Pantry. • The Polish Women’s Civic Club is inviting the community to its annual Christmas luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Ruth Lake Country Club, 6200 S. Madison St., Hinsdale. This festive event will be decorated for Christmas and includes a fashion show presented by Hinsdale Furrier. Cocktails are at 11:30 and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $55 per person. All profits will be donated to a scholarship fund for deserving Polish college students. For further information, contact Bobbi Kaminski at (630) 271-1345.
