Nazareth tops R-B, stalls new offense

All of the intrigue was focuesd on Riverside Brookfield, but all of the momentum went with Nazareth Saturday as the Roadrunners topped the Bulldogs and their new offense 69-21 in La Grange Park.
The Roadrunners (2-0) scored 10 touchdowns and accumulated nearly 420 yards of offense in topping the Bulldogs for the second straight year. La Steven McKinney scored five times to pace the Nazareth offense. McKinney topped 100 yards, running 13 times for 189 yards, while Matt Eraci added 100 yards on eight plays, scoring a touchdown, as well.
Billy VandeMerkt kept R-B (0-2) in it, completing 27 of 50 passes for 293 yards. He hit Shane Kilcoyne and Will Lusthoff for scoring passes, too.
