Man charged with DUI
Andrew J. Lipinski, 47, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of property damage after being arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the corner of First and Ogden avenues, according to reports.

Lipinski was driving a 2003 Nissan Sentra with a flat tire, according to reports. The vehicle reportedly jumped the curb and struck the guardrail near the viaduct and continued north on First Avenue.

Police said Lipinski failed the field sobriety tests and was on medication.

Lipinski was charged with improper lane use, leaving the scene of property damage accident, operation of a vehicle with unsafe tires, not having proof of insurance and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Disturbance leads to arrest
Kristian Molo, 17, 62 W. Pine Ave., Riverside, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer after being arrested at about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at his home, according to reports.

Molo allegedly was enraged, screaming and yelling profanities and kicking items in the residence, police said. When the officers tried to speak with Molo, he became verbally abusive with officers, according to reports.

When officers put Molo in handcuffs, he fought and resisted being taken from the bedroom, police said.

Brookfield
Man charged with DUI
William Hall, no age give, 3544 Oak Ave., Brookfield, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 8 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 3800 block of Prairie Avenue.

Officers responded to calls of a man sleeping in a Ford pickup truck, according to reports. Police said upon arrival, they saw the vehicle running and obstructing traffic in the northbound traffic lane.

When officers woke Hall, the vehicle began to move several inches before coming to a complete stop, according to reports. Hall failed all three sobriety tests, police said.
Hall also was charged with obstructing traffic, according to reports.

Car electronics stolen
A CB radio and a radar detector, totaling $400, were taken from a sport utility vehicle at about 2 p.m. Nov. 7 on the 8500 block of Brookfield Avenue.

The owner said he parked his vehicle in a private parking lot adjacent to the alleyway. Police said there was no forced entry, and the doors may have been unlocked.
