Man found dead in grass of apartment building

The cause of death is still yet to be determined for a Brookfield man found dead near the parking lot of 3665 Arden Ave. at 7:15 a.m. Oct. 11.

James D. Silhavy, 28, of Brookfield was found by a resident of the apartment complex with blood coming out of his mouth, police said. There were no obvious signs of trauma or criminal activity.
Silhavy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.

An autopsy was performed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on Oct. 12, however cause of death is still pending toxicology reports, police said.
