The deadline to register for summer soccer classes in Riverside is approaching.

Some deadlines are today, July 7, while others are on Friday, July 10.

The Riverside Parks and Recreation department is offering several different youth soccer programs.

The soccer skills class has openings for children in kindergarten through third grade. The class takes place at Harrington Park, at the intersection of 35th Street and Route 43. Classes will be held Wednesdays from July 8 to Aug. 12. The kindergarten and first-grade joint class meets from 3:30-4:15 p.m. and the second- and third-grade joint class meets from 4:30-5:15 p.m. The cost of the program is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. The registration deadline is today, July 7.
Soccer Camp is for children ages 5-12. Camp will be held every day from July 13 to  17, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Big Ball Park, at Longcommon Road and Delaplaine Road. The cost of the camp is $60 for residents and $69 for non-residents. Registration ends July 10.
