St. Stephen Cemetery in Carol Stream

St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery in Carol Stream is off the beaten path. The 159-year-old cemetery is located along the Great Western Trail, just south of North Avenue and just east of Gary Avenue. Burials began in 1853, one year after the second Catholic church in DuPage County was constructed on the roughly two-acre plot of land.
