Liz Kantorski, artist and owner of Balance Boards & Beams, will bring her unusual collection of balance boards, beams and blocks to Geneva from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Peaceful Parlour, 212 S. Third St.

Organizers say being on a balance board can feel like riding a wave, adding, “As you rock back and forth, you create a wave and your body moves with it, stretching and strengthening muscles along the way. In an intricate play with gravity, your brain and body communicate and must work together to stay balanced.”
