Loyola opens new medical center

A local specialized pediatric care center is looking to offer local parents a new choice in health care.
The Loyola Center for Children’s Health at Oakbrook Terrace, 15224 Summitt Ave., is an extension of the Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Keeping with the theme of the hospital, the new site is kid-focused, according to the center.
Many of the same pediatric services offered at the Maywood center will be available at the new one. It will also feature a neonatal follow-up clinic, an autism clinic and a Marfan syndrome clinic as well as surgical specialists.
