Bedlam unmatched in the long history of Hinsdale Central football broke loose Saturday night, as the Red Devils’ 24-21 Class 8A semifinal win over Mount Carmel produced the school’s first trip to the state finals and a postgame celebration that blanketed Dickinson Field in half-frozen but fired-up fans.
