The Village of Westmont will hold an informational training session next month for landlords and tenants that would like to learn more about the multi-family dwelling license ordinance approved this summer.
The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy St.
The Village Board approved the ordinance on Aug. 3 that provides for the licensing, regulation, and inspection of multi-family dwellings. This ordinance becomes effective Jan. 1.
The session will cover such topics as what applies to landlords and tenants, application and fees, the eviction and inspection process, and the crime-free lease addendum that is part of the ordinance.
