Oak Brook police said an Oak Park man who was reported missing at about 9 p.m. Sunday night, died after being found unresponsive in his car Wednesday morning.
Oak Brook Police Chief Tom Sheahan said an employee that works in the area noticed a vehicle parked in a lot at 2000 Clearwater Drive in Oak Brook for the second straight The employee called security, who discovered the body at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Philip Calkins, 38, of Oak Park, was slumped over and police had to break the windows to get him out of the van.
Calkins was transported to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove where he was pronounced dead on arrival at about 9:15 a.m., police said.
