Runyon, a longtime independent broker, has a distinguished career in real estate sales and marketing, property management and residential leasing throughout Chicagoland that spans more than 20 years. • Adventist Hinsdale Hospital has named Hyeon Choi, RN, its nurse of the year. The award is presented annually during National Nurse’s Week. A Bolingbrook resident, Choi has worked at the hospital for more than 22 years. She worked in the critical care unit and neuro-intensive care unit before moving to the hospital’s Pain Center seven years ago after experiencing back pain herself.

• Brian K. Anderson, ChFC, senior financial consultant, of Downers Grove, a financial representative with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, has qualified for the organization’s prestigious Pinnacle Council. In order to qualify for the Pinnacle Council, Anderson demonstrated outstanding sales and service to members. Anderson is with Thrivent Financial’s Chicagoland Regional Financial Office and serves Lutherans and their family members in Downers Grove and the surrounding communities by providing guidance and solutions to help them acheive their financial goals. Fewer than 125 of Thrivent Financial’s 2,600 financial representatives qualified for the Pinnacle Council. Crane, president and chief executive officer of Adventist Midwest Health, has been elected to a three-year term on the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council’s 18-member board of directors. The Chicago-based organization comprises more than 140 hospitals and health care organizations working together to improve the delivery of health care services in the Chicago area. A Hinsdale resident, Crane came to Adventist Midwest Health from Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colo., where he was president and chief executive officer.
