DuPage PADS is hosting a breakfast fundraiser at Benedictine University on Wednesday.
The "Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast" will feature keynote speaker Eddie Slowikowski, a former All-American runner at Loyola University Chicago and now a motivational speaker.
The event runs from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at Krasa Student Center, 5700 College Road.
Tickets cost $45 per person. Proceeds will go to DuPage PADS — which stands for Public Action to Deliver Shelter — a countywide group that provides housing, support services and employment training to the homeless.
