ELMHURST – Elmhurst police reported today that at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, police officers responded to the Inland Bank, 539 S. Spring Road, to investigate a report of a deceptive practice in progress. 
WHEATON – A pair of incidents of criminal damage were reported in Wheaton during the week of May 13 to May 19, according to the Wheaton Police Department.
GLEN ELLYN – A small fire in the bedroom closet of a home on Sheffield Court in Glen Ellyn caused no injuries, according to a news release from the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company.
BERWYN – Berwyn police petitioned a 16-year-old expelled Morton West student to Cook County Juvenile Court for criminal trespass to state property following the lockdown at Morton West High School at 11:30 a.m. May 22.
VILLA PARK – It’s 9:30 a.m. on a Friday morning and Mr. Hugelier’s fifth-graders are settling in for their weekly D.A.R.E. class.
DOWNERS GROVE – A woman told police she was jogging at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Avenue and Hill Street when a man driving a dark-blue, newer-model sedan drove by her while fondling himself. Police did not find the man, and he was described as a heavy-set white man between 25 and 30 years old with a light complexion.
BOLINGBROOK – Two suspects were arrested following an alleged armed robbery in Hodgkins that led to a car chase that ended in Bolingbrook around 7:10 p.m. Thursday, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.
WHEATON – A pair of burglaries were reported in Wheaton during the week of May 13 to May 19, according to the Wheaton Police Department.
WHEATON – Two people were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 18, according to the Wheaton Police Department.
DARIEN – A Darien resident and former IT administrator at Lockport Township High School pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a 17-year-old girl in 2009 when she was a senior at the school.
LOMBARD – Members of the Lombard Fire Department are being honored by PETA after recently rescuing a family of ducklings from a local storm drain.
ELMHURST – A father reported that a man was sitting inside his van watching Pioneer Park and appeared to put his pants back on when he was approached at 4:01 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
VILLA PARK – Some residents were temporarily displaced after a Villa Park apartment fire Thursday, fire officials said.
WHEATON – DuPage County Assistant State's Attorney Joe Ruggiero has asked that Jacob Nodarse's sentencing be delayed until after Johnny Borizov has been sentenced.
ELMHURST – Don't be surprised to see Elmhurst police at Dunkin' Donuts on May 31. They're not on their break; they're raising money for Illinois Special Olympics.
