LOMBARD – A Lombard man has been charged with one count of disorderly conduct after a friend told police that he allegedly had made "plans of a violent nature" against his alma mater, Glenbard East High School.

WHEATON – A Calumet Park man was arrested for trespassing and more in in the early hours of May 12.

ELMHURST – An Elmhurst resident reported that her children saw their neighbor allegedly taking pictures from inside his front window at 6:49 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of South Mitchell Avenue, according to police reports.

GLEN ELLYN – Glen Ellyn police charged four individuals with driving under the influence of alcohol between May 5 and 12, according to police reports.

DARIEN – Lightning struck a Darien townhouse at 1312 Darien Path Way during significant storm activity on Monday night, fire officials said.

Police are investigating four motorcycle crashes over a six-day span in Bolingbrook and Romeoville that they say are unrelated.

RIVERSIDE – It figures. As soon as the police show up, everyone decided to behave themselves around trains.

HINSDALE – The home of state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Hinsdale, was reported burglarized this past March.

ROMEOVILLE – A 17-year-old Joliet male died after he was stabbed in a fight outside a Romeoville Jewel-Osco at about 8:43 p.m. Thursday, according to the Romeoville Police Department.

MAYWOOD – The identity of a child found in the Des Plaines River earlier this week near Riverside has not yet been determined.

ELMHURST – An Elmhurst woman is facing one count of healthcare fraud after she allegedly took part in a false Medicare billing scheme.

LOMBARD – No injuries were reported after the Lombard Fire Department responded to a fire in the unattached garage of a home at 1139 S. Edgewood Ave. on Wednesday night.
