An accidental overdose that is not alcohol related has been determined as the cause of death for Abbey Bott, according to Coroner Nicole Meyer at the Monroe County Coroner's Office.

BERWYN – Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a 26-year-old man in the area of Scoville Avenue and 18th Street at 4 p.m. Oct. 31.
RIVERSIDE – Police in Riverside arrested five juveniles and issued one with a citation for marijuana possession after police discovered a simple fort made of branches in the Cook County Forest Preserve near Riverside Brookfield High School that the students were using to smoke marijuana in.
VILLA PARK – Villa Park police Saturday night arrested a local man sought in a shooting incident that occurred earlier this month, according to a release from the department.
RIVERSIDE – A Bensenville man and a juvenile from Berwyn were charged with commercial burglary after using a baseball bat to break into a Riverside gas station to steal cash, according to police.
VILLA PARK – Villa Park Police on Saturday arrested a Maywood man responsible for stealing a 2011 Jaguar XJ from a dealship using a fake identity, police said.

After four hours of deliberation, the jury could not reach a verdict in the trial of an Elmhurst man accused of burning a home, but the wrong home, as revenge for stolen drugs.
