ROMEOVILLE – Two Joliet men are charged with aggravated battery of a police officer and resisting a police officer after a suspected retail theft incident in which one of the men was shot on Thanksgiving evening at Kohl's Department Store, 261 S. Weber Road, Romeoville, according to the Romeoville Police Department.
ROMEOVILLE – Media reports Friday morning indicate that police officers were involved in the shooting of a shoplifting suspect outside a Kohl's in Romeoville.
A man identified as a former Wheaton resident was shot and killed by a police officer in Boulder, Colo. after charging at first responders while holding two knives, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.

WEST CHICAGO – A convicted bank robber who escaped authorities in September 2009 before eventually being arrested in West Chicago received a 30-year prison sentence Monday for committing a series of bank robberies, according to media reports.
