Naperville pair wraps up play at AJGA tournament

Forgettable opening round scores at the American Junior Golf Association's OId Second Bank Junior Championship had Naperville duo Stephen Powers and Hannah Buck with an uphill climb.
The pair came back with much better scores over the final two days of the tournament to put Tuesday's scores behind them.
After an opening score of 83 in the boys division Powers shaved six strokes off his score Wednesday for a 5-over par 77, then finished play Thursday with a 78 for a total of 238. Lake Bluff's Kyle Kopsick shot a 4-under 68 Thursday to win with a 3-under par total of 213.
Buck was 14 shots of the pace after the first round with her 86, but an 82 in the second round led to a three-day score of 253.
