Robert Newsom, 70, of Chicago, was arrested Dec. 10 on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court and driving while license revoked, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
Jeffrey J. Soto, 32, 11879 E. Main St., Apt. 2, Huntley, was arrested Dec. 12 on an outstanding warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear in court, according to police. He was transported to Kane County Jail.
Man arrested for license violation
Derek L. Keys, 18, of Rockford, was arrested Dec. 11 on a charge of having no valid driver’s license, police said. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
Police respond to high school
Huntley police received a report Dec. 13 that two basketball jerseys were stolen out of a locker at Huntley High School.
Woman arrested for multiple violations
Maria A. Lopez, 31, of Chicago, was arrested Dec. 16 on an outstanding warrant out of DuPage County, according to police. Police said she was also cited for driving while license suspended, having no valid registration, improper use of registration and failure to carry a registration card. She was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
Mailbox damaged
Huntley police received a report Dec. 3 that a mailbox near 12400 Lions Chase was knocked down by an unknown person.
Holiday decoration damaged
Huntley police received a report Dec. 3 that a cord was cut to a lighted reindeer in the area of 11700 Niagara Road.
Man arrested for domestic battery
Mitchell R. Raskey, 52, 11184 Algonquin Road, was arrested for domestic battery Dec. 6, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County jail.
Man arrested for traffic violations
DeJose R. Duron, 30, 45 Evergreen Lane, Carpentersville, was arrested Dec. 7 for no valid driver’s license and no insurance, and he was cited for speeding, according to police. He posted bond and was released.
Construction materials stolen
Huntley police received a report Dec. 7 that cases of ceramic tile, three plywood boards and a 3-1/2 gallon bucket of glue were stolen from a residence under construction near 11500 Richmond Lane.
House shot by BB
Huntley police received a report Dec. 7 that criminal damage to property occurred near 10600 Golden Gate Road. An upstairs bedroom window was shot at with a pellet or BB, police said.
Gas reported stolen
Huntley police received a report Dec. 8 of the theft of gas valued at $59.12. The gas was reported stolen from Drendel’s Mobil at 13280 S. Route 47.
