DUI arrests

• Zachary T. Miller, 23, of Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 29 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
•  Michael P. Riley, 60, of Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 4 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police. He was also cited for improper lane usage and driving without insurance. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
•  Scott Christopher Carr, 46, 709 Oak Manor Drive, Marengo, was arrested Oct. 27 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
•  Luis A. Sanchez, 21, 408 N. State St., Marengo, was arrested Oct. 28 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without tail lights, improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail.
•  Kristan Elizabeth Arnold, 20, 294 James St., Marengo, was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol count over 0.08, speeding, driving without a rear registration light and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to police. She was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Drug possession arrests

•  Philip M. Nanos, 49, 11791 Niagra Lane, Huntley, was arrested Oct. 31 on an in-state warrant for failure to appear in court and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail.
•  Lindsey D. Spatafora, 17, 4 Wright Drive, Lake in the Hills, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia Nov. 2, according to police.
• Kyle Wightman, 17, 10710 Pebble Drive, Huntley, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug possession Nov. 2, according to police.

Domestic battery alleged

Lori L. Allen, 42, 11706 Evergreen Road, Huntley, was arrested Nov. 2 on charges of domestic battery, according to police. She was transported to McHenry County Jail.

Purse stolen from school

Huntley Police received a report Nov. 1 that a purse was stolen during an assembly at Huntley High School. Police said an iPod worth $250, a pink Razr cell phone worth $100 and a gold chain necklace were in the purse.

Criminal damage reported

Huntley Police received a report Nov. 2 of criminal damage to property that occurred in the area of 9600 Newton Drive. Police said a resident reported a large hole in his backyard that was possibly due to a firework explosive.
