Q.  How did the school board develop these goals?
A.  The goals were developed and adopted after being discussed by a strategic planning committee following the hiring of Dr. Nicholas Wahl in 2007. We sought the input of faculty, staff and Dr. Wahl in putting them together. They are listed on our web site.

Q.  How do you measure successful completion of the goals?
A. The Board of Education looks at where we are, and Dr. (Nicholas) Wahl provides the board with a regular update that are also posted on our web site. I believe he provides a quarterly and a yearly update.

Q. What role does the public have in holding the superintendent accountable for the goals?
A. The public holds everyone, including the Board of Education, accountable through elections. There has been public input throughout the process.

Q. How will public access to the goals influence how they are created in the future?
A. It influences how we develop the superintendent’s goals because the goals are on the Web site, and we present progress made on our goals. It will be the same in the future through our sub-committees and public forums.
