Abby Brennan, the owner of Brennan Massage and Spa has helped patrons with her deep tissue massages and organic products.
Now, she’s adding in a new component — organic facials through a new skin care line, Naturopathica.
“They get all of the ingredients for their products from organic farms,” Brennan said.
Brennan, who is celebrating her spa’s second anniversary, said the line can give customers many more options when it comes to facial care.
“We can expand the way we customize a facial for differnet skin types, like dry, oily, or combination,” Brennan said. “We’re also now able to offer natural enzyme peels, natural microderm facials, healing acne facials and anti-aging moisture facials.”
Brennan said that men and women both need the same nutrients in their skin, and recommends people get facials once a month to keep their skin looking healthy.
“It’s important to maintain a healthy balance to your skin so skin radiates and has a softer touch to it,” Brennan said.
“For people who are trying to avoid aging, keeping the elasticity in the skin is helpful. Facials can also help with getting rid of acne, scars and blemishes. Facials help keep skin really clean.”
In addition to the cleansing, Brennan said that many people come to her spa to de-stress.
“People really need to take some time for themselves,” Brennan said. “Whether it’s getting a massage, drinking tea or doing yoga, it’s helpful.”
Notable
Brennan will be hosting a launch party for the new skin care line from 5-9 p.m. Jan. 25 at the spa, 3700 Grand Blvd. Samples will be given away and $15 mini facials will be offered.
