Annual poker tournament to be held at Montini Catholic

Montini Catholic High School will host its annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament and Bronco Casino Night Jan. 28 at the school.

The first prize in the poker tournament is a seat at the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas.

There is a $150 buy-in for the tournament at Montini Catholic, which includes 5,000 chips, and there are seats for 200.

There will be other casino games at the event, including black jack, roulette and a split-the-pot raffle.

Check-in for the event starts at 6 p.m. and the tournament begins at 7 p.m. Participation is open to people 21-years and older.
