Drug charges filed

Robert Kowalkowski, 20, of 259 Berteau Ave., Elmhurst, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Third Street and Clinton Avenue, police said.

Raymond Schlosser, 18, of 4N675 Turnmill Lane, West Chicago, and Joshua Manthei, 19, of 2080 Arapaho Drive, West Chicago, were charged with possession of a controlled substance at about 3:43 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Butterfield Road and Hillcrest Avenue, police said.

David Tobin, 19, of 230 S. Villa Ave., Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and Patrick McKean, 19, of 23 Plymouth St., Villa Park, was charged with attempted unlawful possession of a controlled substance at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at St. Charles Road and Lawndale Avenue, police said.

Alexander Wiersema, 20, of 109 Quincy St., Westmont, was charged with possession of cannabis at about 9:42 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at York and Roosevelt roads, police said.

Glenn Morgan, 47, of 717 Washington St., Elmhurst, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of cannabis at about 10:46 p.m. Oct. 27 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, police said.

DeShawn Aaron, 21, of 415 Marshall Ave., Bellwood, was found in possession of a controlled substance after allegedly attempting to deliver drugs to a police officer at around 8:28 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, police said.

Brian Colucci, 20, of 1529 Cascade Court, Naperville, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol; Anthony Pullano, 20, of 2332 Iroquois Dr., Glenview, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor; and Todd Whited, 21, of 3745 Lindenwood Dr., Glenview, was charged with possession of cannabis and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 9:29 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at York and Butterfield roads, police said.

DUI charges filed

Tony Grgurich, 55, of 421 W. Miner St., Arlington Heights, was charged with driving under the influence at about 9:36 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Route 83 and St. Charles Road, police said.

Sibel Toomer, 51, of 310 Hillside Ave., Elmhurst, was charged with driving under the influence at about 11:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Berkley Avenue and Surf Street, police said.

Oscar Diaz-Silva, 23, of 110 S. Lincoln Ave., Addison, was charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance at about 2:28 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Route 83 and the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, police said.

Domestic battery

Danielle Gubricky, 21, of 683 Terry Road, Glendale Heights, was charged with interference with reporting domestic violence and possession of liquor at about 3:09 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at an unknown Elmhurst home, police said.

Timothy Kearns, 53, of 400 Rex Blvd., Elmhurst, will be charged with two counts of domestic battery and two counts of aggravated assault once released from the hospital after an event occurring around 4:48 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at his home, police said.

Theft

A maroon wallet containing $73 cash, drivers license, and a debit card was reported stolen at about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, from Walgreens on 160 Palmer Drive.

Seventeen scanners valued at $3,500 were reported stolen from the Ambir Technology warehouse at about 1:36 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, on 918 N. Oaklawn Ave.

A .45 caliber handgun was reported stolen and sold at about 2:19 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, from a home on the 600 block of Spring Road.

Lost/mislaid items

A wallet valued at $30 was reported missing at about 8:01 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, from Beef ‘O’ Brady’s at the Holiday Inn Elmhurst.

Retail theft

Approximately four bottles of alcohol were reported stolen from Dominick’s at about 4:39 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at 215 S. Route 83.

Jose Dominguez-Mora, 24, of 4628 S. Talman Ave., Chicago, was charged with retail theft at about 6:23 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Kohl's on 303 S. Route 83, police said.

Cortez Reed, 43, of 57 W. 109th Place, Chicago, was charged by Elmhurst Police on an outstanding warrant out of the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office for retail theft, at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Elmhurst Police Station, police said.

Criminal damage to motor vehicle

Two tires valued at $480 on the driver's side of a vehicle were reported punctured at about 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at a home on the 200 block of Winthrop Avenue, police said.

The passenger side rear door, quarter panel, and trunk of a vehicle reportedly incurred about $500 worth of damage after being keyed at about 7:16 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in a parking lot behind York Theatre, police said.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Two Tom Tom GPS units valued at $650 were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in front of Rodgers Organ Studios at about 9:31 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at 785 N. Industrial Road. A smashed driver’s side window incurred $300 worth of damage according to the report.

The driver’s side window of a vehicle was smashed and a white canvas "artist's bag" containing miscellaneous art supplies valued at $200 was reported stolen at about 11:16 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the City of Elmhurst parking lot on 494 Spring Road, police said.

The front passenger side window of a vehicle was smashed and a Tom Tom GPS unit valued at $600 and Cobra Radar Detector valued at $350 were reported stolen from the vehicle at about 1:57 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the City of Elmhurst parking lot on 494 Spring Road, police said.

The front bumper, driver’s side headlight, and red fire extinguisher were reported stolen from an Ingersoll-Rand Air Solutions company van at about 7:52 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at 131 W. Diversey Ave., police said.

The driver’s side window of a vehicle was smashed and a Garmin GPS, Sirius radio and wedding album were reported stolen from a vehicle at about 12:14 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at 600 N. County Line Road, police said.

Four vehicle tie-down straps and two access straps were reported stolen from a work trailer at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at 909 S. Route 83, police said.

The rear driver’s side vent window of a vehicle was broken and a radio/DVD player valued at $300 was reported stolen at about 4:34 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, on the premises of CeeCars at 730 N. York St., police said.

Four wheels valued at $1,200 were reported stolen from a vehicle at about 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, on the premises of CeeCars at 730 N. York St., police said.

Disorderly conduct

Gerald Tate, 50, of 948 S. Prospect  Ave., Elmhurst, was charged with city ordinance disorderly conduct at about 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at his home, police said.

Ryan Howard, 23, of 600 W. Third St., Elmhurst, was charged with disorderly conduct and allowing minors to consume alcohol on his premises and James Thompson, 24, of 657 Van Auken St., Elmhurst, was charged with disorderly conduct at about 2:57 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Howard's home, police said.

Bomb threat

A bomb threat was called in at about 5:48 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 to Jewel-Osco on 150 E. Schiller St., but no bomb, offender, or video was obtained, police said.
