Fire leaves garage severely damaged

Lombard, IL -
No one was injured Saturday morning in a garage fire in unincorporated Lombard.
Residents at 1N445 Swift Road reported the fire in a detached garage at about 9:30 a.m. Fire crews had the blaze out in an hour.
The garage suffered “extensive damage,” according to a press release from the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Co. The cause is under investigation.
