
Montini Catholic High School, Lombard, will administer its eighth-grade placement exam at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Students should arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. and bring two No. 2 pencils. Those who have not pre-registered must arrive at 8 a.m. and should be sure to bring the $30 application fee and their Social Security number.
The test takes three hours and calculators are not allowed. The students who receive the top 10 scores on the exam will each receive a $1,000 scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year.
A pre-test/registration night will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, for students who haven’t already registered for the exam, and bring the $30 application fee and their Social Security number.
A sample of a previous exam will be given to acquaint students with the test format.
