The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County will host a traditional English high tea from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook.
Guests will be able to partake in a tea service in historic Mayslake Hall while First Folio Shakespeare Festival presents a piece of classic literature. A light meal, the high tea will include several varieties of tea as well as delicate sandwiches and savories, sweets, pastries and cakes.
Event tickets are $30 per person. A guided “Restoration in Progress” tour of Mayslake Hall also will be available after the tea for a $5 fee. Reservations must be made by noon on June 2.

Located within Mayslake Forest Preserve in Oak Brook, the main entrance to Mayslake Peabody Estate is at 1717 W. 31st St., one-quarter mile west of Route 83.
