Downers Grove South pitcher Nick Burdi realized a dream on Tuesday when he was drafted in the 24th round of the MLB Amateur Draft by the Minnesota Twins.

Deemed by some publications as a top-five round pick, the right-hander ended up as the 748th pick.

Burdi, who was 7-1 this spring for the Mustangs, will now have a decision to make - he already has a scholarship to Louisville waiting for him.
