The White Oak Library District — formerly Des Plaines Valley Library District — will conduct a public auction of surplus items at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Lockport Branch Library, 121 E. 8th St., Lockport.

The district is selling off surplus items, many from the Romeoville Branch that used to be operated by Fountaindale Public Library before it altered its boundaries a few years ago.

Among the items will be high-quality furniture and equipment, according to White Oak officials.

An auction preview will take place at 9:30 a.m.
