Former golf pro pleads not guilty to theft

What we knew Terry Remke, 46, of McHenry turned himself in to the DuPage County sheriff’s office Oct. 23 after being charged with stealing more than $10,000 from the Lisle Park District’s River Bend Golf Club. Remke was superintendent of the club for 14 years until May 2007.

The latest Remke appeared in DuPage County Circuit Court Monday and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

What’s next He is scheduled to return to court Jan. 6.
