Teenager charged with sexual abuse

An Orland Park teenager has been charged with criminal sexual abuse after being arrested by Lemont police earlier this month.
Police said Cody R. Wysong, 18, of Orland Park was charged with criminal sexual abuse, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after being arrested at about 10:45 p.m. July 6 in the 16000 block of 127th Street.
The Lemont Police Department released information on the arrest Thursday, July 16, but declined to comment on the incident. The age of the victim or details of the abuse were not disclosed in the release.
A call to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office was not returned before deadline.
The Lemont Reporter has submitted a request for the incident report through the Freedom of Information Act.
