Man nets battery charge
Michael T. Sterba, 20, of Homer Glen was charged with battery and underage consumption of alcohol after being arrested at about 10:45 p.m. July 4 in the 800 block of Houston Street, police said.
Man charged with DUI
George Horb, 72, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding after being arrested at about 11:15 p.m. July 4 at State and Cass streets, police said.
Gun reported stolen
Police said a M4 CQB Airsoft gun was stolen from a home at about 10 p.m. July 3 in the 100 block of Erin Court.
GPS reported stolen
A global positioning system was stolen from a car between 8 p.m. July 3 and 9:30 a.m. July 4 in the 600 block of Fourth Street, police said.
