Adult summer readers invited to picnic

Adult summer reading program participants are invited to a Picnic on the Patio at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Lemont Public Library, 50 Wend St., to close the program.
Readers will have the opportunity to discuss books read with fellow readers. The Friends of the Lemont Library will provide a sub sandwich lunch and two lucky readers will win a “Read on the Wild Side” gift basket.
