Community can “Swing for a Cure” during golf outing

The College of DuPage Professional Convention Management Association Student Chapter is hosting the “Swing for a Cure” golf outing beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at Gleneagles Country Club, 13070 McCarthy Road, Lemont, to raise money for research in the cure of lymphoma and leukemia.
The event is in honor of Joan Eisenstodt, a member of the Meetings and Events industry for more than 35 years and a revered professional in the field who has been diagnosed with lymphoma.
Proceeds from this event will help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their constant battle to win over these diseases through research, treatment and education.
