
Lemont High School will welcome 42 students into the Harold Julian Chapter of the National Honor Society. The induction ceremony is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the band room of the school, 800 Porter St.
Included among this year’s inductees are: seniors Sarah Ahline, Amanda Bozich, Ashley Deckelman, Joanie Faletto, Eleni Franck, Andrew Kilinskis, Carolyn Kos, Adrian Laciak and Michelle Walsh; and juniors Heidi Arenberg, Ashley Basiorka, Kimberly Callahan, Bradley Cardella, Michael Fischer, Monica Gostkiewicz, Amanda Gumber, Keely Halper, Dan Hanks, Meghan Hopkins, Erin Houser, Jessica Jamison, Joseph Karpiak, Monica Kociolek, Allison Kostes, Megan Krull, Dana Lenckus, Fleurdeliz Licuanan, Jenna Litoborski, Megan Masterson, Catherine McDermott, Patrick Melville, Mary Michaelsen, Kathleen Oikle, Kristina Pietka, Emilija Pranckevicius, Gavin Quinn, Andrew Rachwalski, Christine Savas, Danielle Schumacher, Jessica Solarski, Erin Stahurski and Greg Virtel.

The National Honor Society recognizes students who demonstrate scholarship, leadership, character and service. The school’s local chapter is named for a former Lemont High School teacher. Students may be chosen for membership during their junior or senior years, and must be nominated for selection by members of the school’s faculty.
