As Illinois student performance standards get tougher each year, more schools are falling short of the mark, according to statewide report cards released this week.

The Lemont Police Department will establish Occupant Protection Enforcement Zones to conduct seat belt checks Nov. 13, to Nov. 29. The enforcement zones will coincide with the national and state “Click It or Ticket” mobilization.

Though a large portion of Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A students met or exceeded state expectations, the district still failed to achieve adequate yearly progress in math for the subgroup of students with disabilities.
