The North Riverside Public Library, 2400 Des Plaines Ave., will hold their ninth annual open house from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 5.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library organization.
Entertainment will be provided by the Riverside Brookfield High School a cappella singers at 1 p.m. and a string ensemble from VanderCook College of Music at 2 p.m.
Hot spiced cider punch and other refreshments will be served.
