Candy store thanks troops by shipping fudge

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will send a pound of fudge to soldiers overseas for every pound purchased at its stores in La Grange and Orland Park during the month of July.
The fudge will be shipped in November to coincide with the Holiday season.
The two stores are keeping a tally board in the store so customers can see how much fudge will be sent, owner Jean Kuhn said.
This is the fifth year that the company has sent fudge to troops overseas, and 1,300 pounds of fudge has been shipped since the promotion began.
The fudge will be shipped through Operation Support Our Troops Illinois, www.osotil.com.
